Maths and Physics Tuition Exeter

I have passion for engaging young people in mathematical problem solving and critical thinking.
My goals are help students develop solid subject knowledge, empower students to be able to apply what they have learn to solve unfamiliar problem and also to foster a deeper understanding and enjoyment of mathematics.
I studied a Masters in Physics at Oxford university, have a PGCE and have taught both GCSE and A-level mathematics in a state secondary school in London.
I have worked for several years as a camp director of an international summer camp that specialises in communication, community living and simple outdoor living. Through this I have worked with young people from different backgrounds, countries and in many different settings. This has helped me develop well rounded skills as a communicator and teacher.

I have been a tutor for several years and love working one-on-one or in small groups of students and have found that through exploring interesting problems many of my tutees have gone from disliking mathematics to actively enjoying it and continuing further studies in the subject.

I teach Mathematics and Physics from KS3, GCSE, A-level and post A-level. I am also available for University and Oxford/Cambridge interview and entrance exam practice.

I am current a maths and science tutor in the Exeter/Teignbridge area.
